MEET THE COACHING TEAM

TRAMPOLINE COACHES

We are a friendly, dedicated and enthusiastic coaching team who have a passion for all things Trampolining and offer a wealth of experience and expertise.

Mike Abbott

Head Coach

Mike has been involved in trampolining since 1976 (1966 if you count the old piece of cine film from a family holiday to Germany).  He is a former National level competitor and has held or been part of several World Record events.  Now over 50 years old, Mike doesn’t perform to quite the same level, however he still likes to get on occasionally to demonstrate, or just play, however he will finally admit that it takes longer to recover these days. As well as performing and coaching Mike is also a qualified judge and more recently became a Level 1 Tutor helping others to become coaches in their own right.
Mike lives for trampolining and always hopes that some of his enthusiasm inspires others to learn to love the sport as well.  He annoys club members with his sayings and phrases, many of which have since become t-shirts !
In the very few hours that he is away from a trampoline Mike thinks he can play guitar and has been known to write the odd song or two. He is also an artist of another kind as he does pencil drawings of animals from photos.
